Problem
The seal positions on the steering axle have been run-in.
The steering axle is mounted in a thruster. Considering the application, crack testing of the base material is required before and after the axle restoration.

Solution
Revamo has removed the wear and carried out a magnetic crack test through a notified body. After recovery by flame spraying and grinding, penetrant testing was performed on the coating.
The repair was performed at the request of the customer under ABS certification mark and fully photo-documented.
