Problem
This is the rotor housing of a decanter.
A rotor turning within the housing was slightly coming into contact with the wall while it was running.
The housing was subsequently eroded. -
Solution
Revamo repaired the housing by flame spraying.
By applying a wear-resistant coating the component is now more abrasion-resistant than the original. -
