Problem
The seals of turbine-/compressor rotor must be optimal to achieve maximum efficiency.
The temperature and the rotational speed of the turbine is high. The turbine housing and the seals are horizontally divisible. -
Solution
Revamo manufactures divisible seals with an abradable (sacrificial) coating. There is zero clearance between the seal and turbine. The seals allow access to the shaft. The accuracy is high, and the dividing plane absolutely cannot split.
