Problem
This component is a press filter which is used by the meat industry for the making of minced meat. The meat is forced through the holes by a piston. Small bones create grooves in the base material; blood and lye affect the base material.
-
Solution
Revamo provides the inner surface of the pressure cylinder with a wear-resistant, chemical-resistant alloy coating and grinds it afterwards.
This gives maximum adhesion because the coating is fused with the base material. This is essential for food applications such as this.
