Problem, idea and solution
-
Problem
The piston rods are used below sea level. They hardly ever move and this can lead to increased (adhesive) wear.
The piston rods must be (Lloyds) 3.2 certified.
-
Solution
Revamo has manufactured these piston rods from duplex stainless steel and then provided with a ceramic coating.
This combination is resistant to seawater. The certification is completely taken care of by Revamo.
Revamo has regular projects with virtually all testing authorities.
