Problem
This is a propeller shaft of a yacht.
The shaft, fitted with bronze bushings, is mounted in the water using lubricated rubber bearings.
Sand, rotational tension corrosion and pitting affect the bronze.

Solution
Revamo repaired the bushings by applying a high quality, seawater resistant coating by flame spraying. The coating was then impregnated in order to close any pores. The buses were ground and polished.
