Problem
As a result of fretting, the bearing fitting became worn out. Subsequently, the bearing stuck and was broken in pieces.
A piece of the axle casting is broken. A bearing roller has beaten a hole in the casting. -
Solution
Bearing fittings are repaired by flame spraying. The retaining ring groove is repaired using an insert.
The hole is sealed with an epoxy filling. -
