Problem
These are components of a rotary screw compressor. The medium to be pumped has been changed.
The new medium is much poorer, resulting in insufficient lubrication and therefore, adhesive wear and fretting occurs. -
Solution
Revamo ground the housing bore to oversize. The capacity valve in which it is mounted was provided with molybdenum.
This coating has self-lubricating properties.
